Styling Map Feature Layers

Styling

All three geometry formatting sections — Line, Point, and Polygon — appear on the same page. Configure only the section that matches your feature geometry; the others can be left at their defaults.

Line and Polygon formatting include a live preview on the right that updates as you make changes.

FieldDescriptionDefaultRecommendation
Stroke ColorLine color. Enter a hex code or use the color picker.#FF6600Use distinct colors for overlapping line types.
Stroke WidthLine thickness in pixels.2Keep under 3 px for visual balance.
Stroke OpacityLine transparency. 0 = invisible, 1 = fully solid.1.000.7–1.0 works well for most lines.
